It was reported by Sheriff Daniel Edwards of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office that on May 28, Sgt. Michael Christmas arrested Zechariah David Collins, 27, of South Hookfin Road in Fluker, while participating in an insurance check point on Hano Road.
Collins could not provide Sergeant Christmas with a valid driver's license or proof of insurance. With further investigation, Sergeant Christmas learned that Collins had four outstanding warrants for his arrest. Collins was then arrested and charged with driving without a driver's license, unauthorized use of a vehicle, simple batter - domestic violence, and criminal damage to property.
