Two more names were added to the list of warrants executed by the Ville Platte Police Department in its ongoing undercover operation into illegal narcotic activities in this community.

Detective Ervin “Chip” Pitre said warrants were executed for the arrests of Templeton Guillory, 24, 713 Rozas St., Ville Platte, and Trevor Ardoin, 17, 209 E. Jefferson, Ville Platte, this week. Both were charged with distribution of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (crack cocaine).

This is Guillory’s second arrest in this investigation, which began Thursday, October 17. Guillory, along with two others were arrested in the first round of warrants executed. A fourth arrest occurred Monday, October 27, and these two arrests occurred during the past week.

Chief Neal Lartigue said his department will continue to wage its war on drugs in this community. He expects more arrests as this investigation continues. He encouraged the public to report suspected illegal activities to his department at 363-1313. He said all callers will remain anonymous.
