Another arrest was added to the ongoing list of warrants being executed by Ville Platte officers in an ongoing undercover operation into the misuse of illegal narcotics.
On Monday, October 27, Tranise S. Thomas, 27, 1524 Blake St., Ville Platte, was charged with distribution of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (crack cocaine).
Chief Neal Lartigue said more arrests will be made as this investigation continues. He said his department will have zero tolerance and continue to aggressively pursue illegal narcotic activities. He encouraged the public to report suspicious activities. He said all callers will remain anonymous.
